That's right guys this is it the debut of our attempt at completing this first ever challenge. We decided to do this challenge on our second day at the parks. Our first day consisted of us trying to hit our favorite rides that way we were tempted to try and ride some "probably not a great idea to ride while shwasty drunk" rides. Now, I know there will be some of you who are not cool drunks attempt this challenge. THIS IS NOT EASY, YOU WILL BE DRUNK BY THE END, IF YOU ARE A BAD DRUNK, PLEASE DO NOT RUIN EVERYONE ELSE'S VACATION, INCLUDING YOURS AND THE PEOPLE YOU ARE WITH!
Now that the little disclaimer is out of the way I wanted to just real quick give a run down of the people who attempted this challenge with me. There is Q, my amazing husband, Alex my brother, Dorie and Pete my mom and dad. We are all very happy drunks so this challenge is a fun one for sure.

So, we started off a little late in the day but without further adieu.
THE FIRST STOP:
Monster's Cafe:
Alright, so I know some of you have read my previous post about the invention of this challenge and are asking wait what specialty drink is there at Monster's Cafe? Well the truth is, it is actually right outside at Bone Chillin the small little stand right outside the main building.

So now I bet your asking....well wait a minute what's so special about that place? Well awhile back I remember reading about a specialty alcoholic slushy called a Monster Mix which consisted of a Pina Colada and Margarita slush.

Top tip! Don't forget to pick up your souvenir glass at the first stop! This will allow you to get cheaper prices for drinks throughout the rest of the challenge. Always ask if there is a discount on every stop with your reusable cup!
These were delicious btw! Some of us got beer though since they are allergic to coconut.
In total in came to around $14 per drink to start.
STOP NUMBER TWO!
FINNEGANS
This would turn out to be a STUPIDLY FUN STOP
Now mind you a group of 5 to sit at the bar may take you awhile to get seats for everyone, however, we super lucked out and were able to grab some seats almost right away due to the kindness of a lovely group of people from New York.
We quickly sat down and was greeted by the nicest and most effective bartenders we met at Universal, JAN THE WOOOMAN! My nickname for her :p. She made us some amazing drinks including her favorite to make Gaterade, the Mummy's Revenge, and some others I can't quite remember because we got to the woosh woosh stage real quick.
Mummy's Revenge: Absolut vodka, Chambord, sweet & sour and triple sec.

These came out to around $13 with tip, we also forgot to ask about the refill discount but later heard we could have :(.
After this it is a very short walk to Chez so we decided to ride the mummy a few times to settle our stomachs a bit......
Yeah.....ummmm......TOP TIP! Don't ride the mummy after drinking some really strong drinks.
But no worries folks all of us were champs and kept it together, had a quick restroom break, and walked to Chez.
STOP NUMBER THREE
CHEZ ALCATRAZ
Alright folks I would love to say at this point we were all feeling super awesome and ready to keep chugging along. Pun intended.
But alas, this was not the case. Alex, my bro, was quickly realizing this was going to be much more of a challenge then we all thought.
We all regrouped grabbed a quick bite to eat of fries to help the tummies and absorb some of the alcohol.........TOP TIP! EAT A CARB LOADED BREAKFAST!
(we didn't eat breakfast=bad idea)
OKAY! So we ate some fries and grabbed our next drinks!
The Bruce and the Escape!
Bruce: a margarita with fresh OJ.
Escape: Crown Royal, Captain Morgan, peach schnapps, splash of sour mix and Coke.

We had a great time chatting on the covered tables, people watched, and generally sat to help give ourselves a little time to recover.
TOP TIP: Don't try to do too many stops in a short amount of time. Plan ahead to take about ten hours to complete this challenge.
STOP NUMBER FOUR:
THE HOPPING POT
This was by far my favorite stop. We were all feeling pretty amazing after the first three stops and all of us were definitely in the woosh woosh stage. For those of you who also haven't guessed I am a HUUUUUUGE HARRY POTTER NERD! I love Harry Potter, for reals yall. So to be able to finally get to try Fire Whiskey, Dragons Brew, and Strongbow, I was seriously looking forward to this and beyond elated.
So we decided to get the strongbow with fire whiskey shot and the Deathly Hallows (which the person who poured it didn't layer it :(.)
We sat around using our wands pretending to add alcohol into them and or get them to add more automatically and turn it into rum (thanks for the crappy spell Seamus Finnegan.....)
SO SO FUN!
Deathly Hallows: Layered Strongbow, Dragons Brew, and the Stout)
TOP TIP: DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR DISCOUNT AND USE THE REFILLABLE'S
WE FORGOT AGAIN LOLOLOL
STOP NUMBER FIVE:
DUFF
This was the only spot where you do have to double back later. Meaning, you will need to walk past MIB to the Simpsons area and grab your drinks then walk back to Kings Cross Station. This is a great spot though because it gives you plenty of options for food. You can either eat in the Simpsons Fast Food Lane, or hop back into Diagon Alley and hit the leaky Cauldron, or hop the train and grab food in Hogsmeade.
We decided to do the last option and grabbed our Duff Beers and walked back to Kings Cross.
TOP TIP: THIS WAS A TERRIBLE IDEA. Because it basically sets you up to have to drink two more drinks before food.....Choose option 1 or 2! Also, DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR THE DISCOUNT AND REUSE YOUR REFILLABLE CUP! We were drunk at this point so none of us remembered.

Soooo we got half way! YAYAYAYAY! Man were we feeling happy! Can you tell?
We decided to walk over to Kings Cross and grab the Hogwarts train to IOA and Hogsmead. But don't forget there is a secret stop on the way for beer drinkers only.
But alas, our time is short here so check back in soon for the last half of our attempt at this challenge!
