Thanks for joining me again guys on my continued story of our first attempt at the Drinking Around The Universe challenge!
Well here goes nothing.....We last left off after we finished our half way stop at Duff. This is the point where it is a great halfway spot to grab a bite to eat at either Simpsons Fast Food Lane, the Leaky Cauldron, or take the train to Hogsmeade and eat there. We decided the later before really thinking it through. Because, we forgot that there is a secret spot inside Kings cross for beer drinkers to enjoy the sixth stop on our challenge.
STOP NUMBER SIX
KINGS CROSS STATION
So as you wind your way through Kings Cross station there is a small little hole in the wall (literally) snack station that you can buy snack at in line. Step out of line and get ready for stop number six because they have two beers you can ONLY get here. Boddingtons and Old Speckled Hen. Both are.......yeah....not to my taste.....BUT WE WERE TOO DRUNK TO CARE. We had a great time drinking our beers, taking the elevators, and heading off to lunch at the Three Broomsticks.
So off to the Three Broomsticks for lunch. We had the platter and split that between the five of us. We also grabbed an extra order of fries. This was a delicious way for us to get some food in us and absorb some of that alcohol. You can tell by the previous pictures we actually sort of needed it at his point. But, after chowing down we decided to hit the next stop.
TOP TIP: This is also where you have to double back! But, that's okay because you got some food in you and you need to walk off some of that beer and alcohol.
STOP NUMBER SEVEN:
MYTHOS
Again, this is close to the end but by no means the easiest spot. This is the turning point. If you can finish this drink and keep going your pretty much set. Because, this was the potion of the gods we were talking about and about to face.
The Potion of the Gods: Malibu, Captain Morgan, Triple Sec, Razzmatazz, orange, cranberry & pineapple juices with a float of Bacardi 151.

The server told us the restaurant was closing so we had to leave soon so we grabbed our Potion TO GO.
TOP TIP: DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR THE REFILLABLE CUP DISCOUNT AND USE YOUR OWN CUP! We forgot for the millionth time.
This drink was ridiculously good but has a ridiculously large amount of alcohol in it.
I would suggest if you have time to sit down a grab some spanakopita apps IT IS BOMB. Check out my food blog later on for reviews on that!
Now that we had our delicious beverage and drank it all down we were feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeling shwaaaaaaaaaaysty.....So drunk at that point so we decided the best idea at the time was to power through.....
TOP TIP! NOT A GOOD IDEA FOR WANTING TO WAKE UP EARLY NEXT DAY! DEFINITELY NOT ADVISED!
We walked.....STUMBLED back to Hogsmeade.
STOP NUMBER EIGHT
HOGS HEAD
At this point some in our party were feeling it a little too much so we decided to split 3 drinks. We got another Deathly Hallows and the infamous Hogs Head Tea.
16 oz Hog's Tea: vodka, gin, rum, and tequila mixed with sour mix and raspberry iced tea.
These were both especially good and we enjoyed them immensely.
TOP TIP: DON'T FORGET TO TAKE PICTURES. I forgot to take pictures and ended up having to use the pics from lunch where one of our party had a Hogs Head Tea ahead of schedule on accident :p.
This was the part where it starts to get very fuzzy but we recall having an amazing time.
We kept it moving though and off we headed to the second to last stop.
STOP NUMBER NINE
THE WATERING HOLE
The watering hole is by far one of my favorites. We loved the delicious concoctions and all of what we tried was great. Unfortunately we never got to experience it that day because the parks closed early that night.
TOP TIP: THE WATERING HOLE CLOSES AN HOUR EARLIER THEN THE REST OF THE PARK! SO PLAN ACCORDINGLY!!!
That being said we decided to have a double drink at backwater bar and we promised to hit up the watering hole the next day.
We ended up getting the Predator on the Rocks and a drink special they had for that month.....I can't recall exactly what it was but it's in my video blog.
LINK SOON
Sooooo even though that day we were disappointed that the watering hole was closed we went off to complete our mission at our last stop.
STOP NUMBER TEN
THE BACKWATER BAR
Now guys this 10 drink challenge doesn't seem like a lot, but y'all this is a serious challenge in the Florida heat and combined with the fact that we did it in such a short time......yeah it tough. We ended up grabbing our drinks and headed off to a seat with a view and watched the sunset and chilled with some great company and some great people watching as the day came to a close.
We recapped our favorite drinks while we downed our doubles. We had an amazing day that ended with everyone getting a Port of Entry and a random whatever. The Go Pro was dead, phones were almost dead, and we decided to just enjoy the cool Florida air with our Annual Passes hanging around our necks, more on that later *wink wink* (link later on).
Port of Entry: Bacardi rum, Russian Standard vodka, Gin, Midori liqueur, Sprite and sour mix.
I ended up not taking pictures as our phones were close to dead and I wanted to take one last photo as we were leaving. So we ended up grabbing them again later that week.

We ended up waddling out having completed our long mission! This was absolutely a blast but stupidly difficult.
All in all a few tips. Tip #1 Make sure you use that souvenir glass and ask at EVERY stop if they have a discount if you use it. They do not have AP discounts for alcohol so make sure to ask about the refillable cup. Tip #2 Make sure to eat and keep hydrated. This is really important because the alcohol will catch up to you and the Florida heat does not help. Tip #3 Budget at least $150 per person for alcohol that day. It is a pricey challenge but well worth the fun and memories. Tip #4 HAVE FUN, TAKE PICS, AND USE THE #drinkingaroundtheuniverse.
